So why do we fly microlights?

Modern high performance microlights are very capable aircraft, exceeding the performance of most GA 2 seat aircraft.

They have excellent cruise speed, climb, take off and landing performance, along with great handling.

Recreational flying is a combination of challenge, skill

and adventure; it is exhilarating and rewarding.

Once you have your advanced national  pilots licence, you have the freedom to take your aircraft and your passenger where you can.

Tour the South Island, take a trip over to the Coromandel for lunch.

Hone your skills for competitions or take part in 'fly in' social events.
